Mark
Boynton is a national speaker in the field of student classroom and
building-wide discipline. He has presented over 200 discipline
seminars in at least thirty states, drawing from his experiences
from more than thirty years in public education as a classroom
teacher, school counselor, and elementary and middle school
principal. Mark has received the Distinguished Principal Award for
Washington State at both the elementary and secondary levels. He
and his wife, Chris, have co-authored a book on school discipline
which will be published in November 2005 by the Association of
Supervision and Curriculum Development. Mark's services include
speaking to individual school staffs, district staffs, and/or
building principals regarding classroom and building-wide discipline
systems and strategies. He also teaches strategies to deal with
especially difficult and challenging students. In addition, he and
his wife, Chris, an education consultant and former school
administrator, provide on-site assessments of schools' discipline
systems and make practical recommendations on how to improve these
systems.
Mark
Boynton has been a member of Washington State's elementary and
secondary principal associations, has served on the board for the
Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, and is a
national speaker for the Bureau of Educational Research.
